ASIAGO, PRODUCT OF THE MOUNTAIN: THE BEST OF THE PLATEAU
Asiago “Product of the Mountain” is the traditional cheese of the Asiago Plateau.
It is strongly characterised by its fresh, milky, slightly floral smell, with a sweet and pleasant taste.
The entire production process is carried out according to strict production guidelines that highlight the repetition of an ancient tradition for the good of the environment, the grazing cattle and the consumer.
Milk production, transformation of milk into cheese and the cheese’s maturation in spruce boards all take place in the mountains of the DOP region between the Veneto and Trentino, at an altitude of between 600 and 2,300 metres.
The exclusive use of mountain milk, with traceability certification, is a guarantee of high quality.
The unspoilt environment of the alpine pastures and the great cheese making tradition make this cheese a precious jewel of natural goodness.
