“MIGLIOR FORMAGGIO ASIAGO VECCHIO E STRAVECCHIO PRODOTTO IN MALGA” COMPETITION – in its 5th year
The traditional competition to find the “Best Asiago Vecchio and Stravecchio cheese made in Alpine dairies”, organised by the Consorzio di Tutela del Formaggio Asiago, will be held on 9 July. This year the event will also take to the streets so everyone can have a chance to enjoy Asiago cheese produced in Alpine dairies.
The competition also provides an opportunity to discover some of the attractions of the area which produces this outstanding cheese following age-old traditions. Asiago is the fourth cow’s milk cheese in Italy to be awarded Protected Designation of Origin and is made in the largest district in the Alps with fully functional dairies.
