ASIAGO AND ASPARAGUS ON EASTER MONDAY

Asiago cheese is taking part in the 76th Bassano DOP White Asparagus Exhibition and Contest which will be held in piazza Libertà in Bassano del Grappa on Monday 25 April. The best bunches of DOP asparagus will be on show and in the running for an award during the event, which will run from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Information stands will be set up so visitors can learn about the main protected products from the Veneto, including Asiago DOP cheese, and there will be a special area for “Campagna Amica”, where visitors will be able to purchase local quality produce. During the day those present will have the opportunity to enjoy asparagus risotto and listen to live music.
