ASIAGO AT "TUTTOFOOD"
Asiago DOP cheese is taking part in “TuttoFood”, one of the most important professional exhibitions in the food business. The event is being held at the Milan fairground from 8 to 11 May. On Monday 9 May Asiago cheese will be at the conference “The characterisation of DOP cheeses – Research and technology to protect DOP cheeses”, organised by Afidop (Association of Italian Protected Designation of Origin Cheeses) in the area set aside for the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (Hall 22 – stand A21- B28). Afidop and the Protection Consortia will discuss the results of the latest investments into identifying the most modern, cutting-edge technological solutions for characterising DOP cheeses. There will also be two opportunities for the public to taste Asiago during the event: on Tuesday 10 at 5.00 pm, Asiago Stravecchio can be enjoyed with Tai Rosso Riserva Colli Berici DOC and on Wednesday 11 at 12.00 pm, Asiago Pressato will be paired with Merlot Colli Berici DOC and Asiago speck.
