Balade Gourmande to take place in Paris, from 11th to 17th November

12 gourmet venues, a whole week, from 11th to 17th November, the magical city of Paris and a selection of Protected Designation of Origin cheeses. These are the ingredients of Balade Gourmande, an event organized by the Consortium for the Protection of Asiago Cheese, in collaboration with those for the Protection of Gorgonzola, of Buffalo mozzarella from Campania and of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, to help people discover and appreciate the excellence of Italian cheeses in France. A busy week during which each venue will give its own personal interpretation to the cheese through exclusive menus and recipes, filled rolls and signature platters, combined with exceptional wines, music and readings. Among the venues not to be missed are the Roseval, which won the Fooding Guide 2013 Best Restaurant Award, the legendary cheese shop, Fromagerie Quatrehomme, captained by Marie, the grande dame des fromages; the Épicerie Musicale, where Italian specialities are served to the rhythm of jazz, and the Marcovaldo, a hybrid space where food slips between the pages of the best books.
